Electrical Tips

I’m super excited about this chapter because it finally fulfills the original vision I had for Tips, Tricks, and Thoughts.

Sure these quick hits have already become well loved both by readers, judging from the traffic they get as well as the new members they bring in, and by me, because they are a way to share the many thoughts I have that don’t warrant a full article.

That said, the challenge has been linking the Tips with articles and chapters on the same subject.

So, for example, you might read our review of the WakeSpeed WS500 but have no idea that we have published a bunch of Tips on the same unit.

A few months ago we solved that so that we were able to add Relevant Tips at the bottom of an article or chapter, and, better yet, going forward, as we add more Tips on that subject, they will automatically get added to the parent chapter.

That’s cool for Tips that are specific to one chapter, but what about ones that are less so, but still relevant to an Online Book or Topic?

Well, now we will be able to address that, too, by adding a chapter (over time) to the end of each Online Book and Topic listing the relevant Tips.

But wait, this gets even cooler:

Zoom In

I’m sure you all have better things to do than read through a dozen or more Tips to find the ones that are relevant to you, so when you first load one of these chapters, just the titles, date, read time and number of comments for each Tip will show.

When you see one that interests you, click on Read Tip, and there it is, instantly, without going to a new page and losing your place.

Comments

Of course that Tip might have a bunch of comments, but you might, or might not want to read them and/or comment yourself. If you do, there’s a link at the bottom of the tip.
