I wonder what the Bluetooth range is? Fall overboard, hit tack, the boat heaves to, swim back, & climb aboard all before the off watch crew gets their fouies on. Even better if you’re solo. Probably better to rely on tethers though.

I have wondered about that too and might try it if I went in single handed. That said, Bluetooth is very short range, so I would not take this into account in my planning.
