Hack Found and Fixed

We got up this morning to find a message from our security monitoring service, Sucuri, with the news that Attainable Adventure Cruising had been hacked.

We immediately took the site down in case there was any risk involved to you, our readers. The good news is that there was not. The hack simply modified our site to link to some bum selling payday loans.

Using information provided by Sucuri I was able to clean the site in about three hours.

Door Locked

Sucuri were also able to identify how the hacker got in and we now have that door locked.

Adventure 40 Meeting Postponed

One other piece of bad news. We were scheduled today to visit with a local builder who, after reading all of the Adventure 40 posts, is interested in building the boat. But because of the hack we had to postpone until next week.
